Witnesses at a Tribunal

The parent/carer or young person can request a witness attends the hearing. 

If the parent/carer or young person would like a witness to attend it is important to know that the Tribunal normally limit the number of witnesses to 3 and will expect any witness to write a statement that will be submitted with the evidence 

Witnesses need to be able to help prove a point that the parent/carer or young person are trying to make at the hearing 

The parent/carer or young person can ask a witness to be summoned by the tribunal. Summons are sent to parent/carer or young person to serve to the witness.
