How can you access our support?
Telephone helpline
You can book a 40 minute telephone appointment via the website to speak with our trained advisor.
If you book an appointment with an advisor you will then be sent a consultation form. This MUST be completed to confirm your appointment as soon as possible to avoid cancellation. You can now amend and cancel your appointment and you will receive text and email reminders.
Multiple children - If you are looking to book an appointment to discuss multiple children you will need to book an appointment and complete a consultation form for each child.
Face to face Library drop-in
We will be at Library's to answer any questions you may have, advice and signposting to further support.
All sessions are subject to change, and any changes will be advertised on our Facebook page. Please be aware these sessions do not offer a private room to talk, we will be based in main areas of the library. As we are not taking bookings, we will do our best to speak to you on a first come, first served basis.
These sessions are informal and friendly, our Engagement and Advice Workers can give you next steps advice about your child’s education, SEN Support, EHCP and other SEND processes.

One off support/Casework
Families who come to us and need more support than our Helpline can offer may be offered one-off support to help move them forward, if an Advisor feels that the family need more intense support due to their own needs then they will put them forward for longer term casework support.
Not every family that comes to the service will be offered or provided with one-off support and not every family that receives one-off support will be given longer term casework support, but we are hoping that this will help us to become a more responsive service.
