Evidence can be uploaded alongside the SEND35/SEND35a form, when you lodge your appeal. Additionally, you can also send evidence up until your evidence deadline – which will be highlighted in your tribunal directions.

Evidence must be sent to the Local Authority, who are represented by NP Law. You will be contacted by a member of NP Law, and you should ensure all evidence is sent to this contact.

Submit documents as indexed, numbered attachments (PDF preferred) under 14MB, clearly referencing your case number and child's name.

Key Tips

  • Ensure all documents relate specifically to the issues in the appeal (e.g., if appealing for more support, focus on reports demonstrating that need).

  • Keep a complete copy of everything you send for your own records.

  • If sending by post, use recorded delivery.

  • Ensure all documents are sent to both tribunal and local authority.
